Elope NYC with Veronica and Tony

When getting to know my couples, I often ask: ‘how do you think you’ll react if it rains on your wedding? Do you think you’ll grab an umbrella and go with it, or find cover?’ Most couples all respond that they’d grab an umbrella and go. Little did Veronica and Tony expect a monsoon when they decided to Elope NYC. And grab umbrellas they did!

From my first call with Veronica, it was clear they were flexible and fun. It was also clear that we’d be a match together on their wedding day! Once the rain let up, we had a perfect sunset, saturated colors and glorious puddles for us photograph and play! Wandering through Central Park and eventually down to Chelsea Market, the City Lights coming on shifted our time together into the vibrant NYC nightlife.

Their wedding was so fun, unique and full of laughing, it is a day that I’ll always cherish. I love all of our images together, and I hope you enjoy them too!

New Hope Pennsylvania Engagement with Jen + Michael

Planning an engagement session is such a fun way to celebrate those last moments of young love before stepping into married life. It’s great time to capture a few moments that truly resonate with the couple. Sometimes we meet at a shopping center, downtown, NYC or a park. With Jen and Michael, going outdoors where there was water was a must. Which is how came to this adorable little New Hope Pennsylvania engagement session.

For me, I love getting to know my couples through an engagement session. The session offers a wonderful and unique way of finding our vibe together before their wedding day. Through all our emails, I found it clear that I would just adore Jen and Michael – you know the way you just click with someone? As we settled into our little stroll, Jen confided that it was Michael’s birthday – I mean, seriously. My heart just melted that they elected to spend Michael’s birthday meandering through the trails with me!

We had such a great time together – and I simply cherish each of these images. With their intimate wedding coming up this Saturday – I cannot wait to stretch our legs – making sure to forgo the moments we tried that didn’t feel quite right, and expanding on the ones that feel just perfect. All in their wedding attire and wedding day love and smiles!

Folino Estate Winery Wedding – Carrie + David

Many many moons ago the idea of photographing weddings sounded absolutely terrifying to me. But as it turns out – photographing weddings has brought me in touch with so many gorgeous, kind, caring and loving people. Photographing Carrie and David’s Folino Estate Winery Wedding was all of that and more.

From the first email, preparing for their wedding has been magical and entirely unique. We first met in The Promenade Shops at Saucon for their engagement session that was so close to their heart; the place where David proposed to Carrie. Every detail of their wedding was enveloped with the same tenderness, grace and love. Folino Estates has the perfect establishment for an intimate wedding in Lehigh Vally. With access to the vineyards and the decadent wines which includes a space separate from the main restaurant, t’s absolutely perfect for a wedding.

I adored every moment photographing this wedding and hope you love the images as much as I do!

Alonzo Bonsal Preserve Family Photography with the Himes Crew

This session tugs at my every heart string. I grew up in a small town of 3,000 people (truly – my graduating class had 90’ish kids) and behind my folks house is a small creek. This is where my sister, brother all the neighborhood kids and I spent all our time. Our summers were full of catching crayfish, tadpoles, snakes, water gliders and so on. It was simply magical. To discover this little known gem here in Montclair made this Alonzo Bonsal Preserve Family Photography session quite the treasure!

We spent a morning with these gorgeous and intrigued girls who were ready to pop their shoes off and get muddy and wet. This made my heart sore. Capturing these moments is so much of everything I love about what I do. The girls found rocks, went sifting for treasures hidden in the river bed, found sticks and simply relished in the nature around them. With parents gently encouraging their natural curiosity. We had a wonderful morning 🙂

Cop Cot Wedding in Central Park with Zoe and Johnny

So much love for Zoe and Johnny and their stunning Cop Cot Wedding in Central Park! Cop Cot is a perfect place to elope in NYC. Traveling all the way from Australia, Zoe and Johnny planned their wedding from this great distance and all the while – cool as cucumbers. They found me through Steph and Brad’s wedding and from there we plotted and planned their beautiful day.. Though they had a very clear idea of what they wanted their day to look like. Surrounded by the beauty of Central Park, a white wedding and the love of their closest family and friends.

I think they nailed it. There wasn’t a single element that could have made their wedding more special, full and rich with love. They perfectly mixed their day with a combination of amazing Australian and NYC talent (I mean really – look at that dress!!!), and with Zoe herself a makeup and hair artist who did her own style, Johnny a fashion photographer and of course, a few amazing NYC based vendors made for one gorgeous wedding. I’m thrilled to have been a part of their day – and hope you enjoy the images, too!
