Brooklyn Bridge Elopement with Mick and Angela

Eloping in NYC creates such a magical wedding day. When planning a wedding in New York from overseas, daydreaming about the day and locations takes a whole new twist. Mick and Angela reached out to me with visions of their wedding on the Brooklyn Bridge. The bridge is so close to my own heart – I immediately fell in love with their ideas. A sunset wedding tugged at their heart strings as well as a trip through DUMBO. And it was such a joy witnessing all their drams come together!

For a gorgeous Friday in early autumn, we were able to etch out an intimate corner on the bridge for Mick and Angela to say their vows. Once they were officially wed by Judie Guild of Elope NYC the State of New York, we wandered from the bridge and took a leisurely trip down the waterfront. It was such a beautiful day celebrating their wedding – I simply love all the images and moments we captured!

Bethesda Terrace Central Park Elopement with David and Karina

It is such a gift being invited into a couples life together to capture their wedding day. Being a part of David and Karina uniting their family was so special and magical. Mulling over a few locations within the park, they decided on a Bethesda Terrace Central Park Elopement as the ideal place to tie the knot. The day threatened to rain and supplied spectacularly moody clouds and nearby Bethesda Terrace provided the perfect amount of security just in case the rain came early.

David and Karina brought together the perfect balance between NYC and nature which was accentuated by David serenading Karina as she proceeded to the ceremony. The day felt joyful, intimate and entirely authentic to their life together. Every detail was attended to – David was paying attention to Karina’s comfort, as she was looking out for his. With their children in attendance, the love was nearly tangible.

I’ll be forever grateful for their inviting me into this special day and hope you love the images as much as I do!

Central Park Shakespeare Garden Wedding with Nourah and Marius

There is so much to love about Nourah and Marius’s Central Park Shakespeare Garden wedding. With Shakespeare Garden tucked away near The Ramble, this area offers an abundance of quite hidden nooks that are perfect for an intimate wedding. Nourah and Marius live just off of the park and much of their free time is spent in this gorgeous setting. This created an element of their personalities that will forever resonate when remembering their wedding day.

Starting the day at The Plaza, we were able to capture those first quiet moments before their ceremony. Meeting their loved ones in the park, we had a lovely walk through the park where we met their officiant. After we felt we’d explored much of the area, we then head off to DUMBO, Brooklyn where we were able to catch the last fleeting moments as the sun set behind the city.

Playa Del Carmen Wedding with Shana + Jason

Once my brother said to me that all wedding are magical; whether you’re on a beach in Mexico or standing in the middle of a road while wearing a potato sack. As a wedding photographer, this is undeniably true – however, being on a beach is pretty amazing. When Shana and Jason reached out asking me to photograph their Playa Del Carmen wedding, I could not clear my schedule fast enough.

Shana and Jason longed for a fun and intimate wedding – one that had their guests enjoying themselves to their fullest. Playa Del Carmen is such a stunning location and they brought together an amazing trip for everyone. They created a wedding celebration that encompassed several days with loved ones. I feel confident in stating their wedding was one that will remain dear to all their friends and family’s hearts.

Photographing Shana and Jason’s wedding could not have felt more natural or organic for me. Shana and I go way back – being a part of her day was so special for me and I will carry this trip with me forever.

Gapstow Bridge Wedding ⋅ Central Park Wedding with Christina and Paul

Their wedding day could not have been more perfect. Christina and Paul decided to have a Gapstow Bridge Wedding with their closest family and friends in attendance. The day was divine and the weather absolutely perfect. With an intimate ceremony tucked away at the foot of the bridge, they were able to say their vows in Central Park yet enjoying their own little nook of privacy.

Shortly after the ceremony, we wandered around The Pond where we were able to catch some beautiful portraits before they whisked away for a dinner with their family and friends.

I truly adored this elopement – and hope you enjoy the photos!
