Waterfalls in New Jersey? Yes, please! When Joyce and I started plotting out our New Jersey engagement photography session, a last minute decision (thanks, Joyce!) popped up to visit Lamberts Castle and then move on to a nearby waterfall.. Now granted, I’ve not lived in NJ for a super long time and still feel like a Brooklyn/Michigan ex-pat.. Buuuuuuut, I think after 6 years I’d know there is a massive waterfall a short 15 minute drive from my home.
So there’s that. And we had such a picture-perfect day! Not too hot, not too cold with the lovely low-autumnal light warming everything. And of course, there’s Matt and Joyce. I always love a day that feels like friends hanging out and I just happen to be the one with the camera. I adored our session together and am so excited for their Upstate New York wedding this summer. They are beyond cute, laid-back and so very perfect together, it’s sure to be a lovely day.
