And I’d like to celebrate with you, too 🙂
You see, both my little Cherubs were born in the Spring – April and May. Great time to have a little minion enter the world, in my opinion. Not that we planned that – both our kids surprised the noodles out of us! Happily so, of course 😉 And with all the new buds opening on the trees, crocuses popping up and the birds returning with their song, this season is always always always the time I feel wide open with memories of those early days. Memories of their little newborn cry – the cry that I could decipher between his and the other 40 babies on the recovery floor in Hospital. Memories of our first stroll through the neighborhood as a family, memories of walking the floors at 4am in effort to lull him to sleep, the windows freshly open letting in the breeze. Memories of firsts – first smile, first bottle, first at ‘life’, first attempt at figuring out the f** car seat (which quickly became Gavin’s job – though I’ve now, with 6 years under my belt, have become a car seat master, as well!) .. Memories of discovering what it truly meant to be ‘tired’, the realization what ‘unconditional love’ really meant, memories of my life taking on a monumental and cosmic shift.
At least, that’s what it felt like.
I love this time of year.
So for that – welcome to my Spring Sale! Totally not related, but fun none-the-less!

And cause I’m not sure how to post a blog without photos, here’s a few of me and my little guys when they were first born.. This first image of me and my Cookie Monster is easily one of my favorite images of me. Ever. Crap quality off a Canon Elf, buuuuuutttttttttt I am so so so in love with the tenderness and love here, I could care less, honestly. I wish it were better quality, sure, but I’m thrilled this moment was caught. And this is exactly why I do what I do. I hope Aiden has this hanging on his wall one day.
