So much goodness in my life has come to me so organically. I took Keith and Roberto’s headshot when they joined the First Congregational Church of Montclair, NJ (my home away from home – read: I friggin love that place!). And coincidentally, they were getting married. I love stories that happen this way. I love these moments as working with people who have a similar vibe make the day more like hanging out with friends than anything.
Keith and Roberto have been together for years – having started their romance in college!! (and I love those stories, too!). They are such an extension of each other – the love and excitement of the day was nearly tangible. There have been a few events that have actually brought on the tears for me. Now, I’m not an easy-to-cry sort of gal. But I’m not cold, either. But when Keith’s mom started to cry during the first mom and son dance, well, I was not the only damp eyed gal in the room.
It makes me happy that I was invited in to capture this wedding – and even happier to now call them friends.

ps – lots of great vendors put their hearts into this event. The wedding and ceremony both took place at the First Congregational Church in Montclair, NJ, Laurence Craig Catering provided the absolutely divine cuisine, Mrs. B’s Cakes made the wedding cake and Jardiniere Fine Flowers provided all the lovely arrangements. DJ’s were J&E Entertainment and the tuxes were provided by the Mens Warehouse and the cake toppers by December Diamonds.
