I sat on this blog for a minute. In December, I knew I was going to move my website – and I just had to include this series of photo’s on my new blog site. Little did I know the adventure building a new site would be!
So, alas, I am able to post this beautifully intimate winter wedding. This wedding is so near and dear to my own heart. Cindy, Holli and I all attend the same church – which is where they were set to wed. With the marriage equality act passing, marrying in their church, surrounded by their loved ones, was a truly monumental moment. And man – it was simply joyful. It’s so easy to get distracted in the beauty of wedding details such as flowers and cakes (cause really, who doesn’t like cake and flowers??). But what I love here is that the most stunning detail in their wedding is all the laughter. In the ceremony. In the formals. In the quiet moments. Just pure joy. In fact – these two could not make a straight face if I asked. Such a beautiful couple who I am elated to now call my friends.
It was such a joy and honor being a part of this lovely wedding. I hope you enjoy the moment, too!
xx –
Sarah
